Setia Ecohill to be launched in October 2013?

I have received SMS invitation to Setia Ecohill's brand new Welcome Centre on 29 Aug 2013 but only managed to visit the sales gallery today.

The entrance and Welcome Centre look awesome, especially it located in middle of under-developed Semenyih town.

Pilosa 1&2 and Pallida 1&2 are Double Storey Terrace House (20' x 65') that selling at indicative price of RM400,000. While Argentea 1&2 and Augusta 1&2's land size is 20' x 70'. It costs RM30,000 more as compare to 20' x 65' houses.

Here are the indicative selling price of other properties:

Errana 1&2 and Plavia 1&2 (36' x 78') - RM700,000
Lecus 1&2 (36' x 80') - RM800,000
Merrum A1/A2 & B1/B2 - RM900,000

Leon Fuat Berhad (LEONFB) closed at RM 0.615 on its debut



A total of 50,137,300 shares transacted on the first day of Leon Fuat’s trading debut in Bursa Malaysia main market. The shares opened at RM 0.635, or a premium of RM 0.35 above its offer price of RM 0.60, rose RM 0.015 to RM 0.614 or 2.50% before the market closed.

Diversification is good in minimize the unsystematic risk, especially in those markets with less correlation. For those who are investing in international stock market, here are some indexes you can look into:
  1. Asean - FTSE/ASEAN 40 Index
  2. Asia Pacific - MSCI AC (All Country) Asia ex Japan Index
  3. Euro - FTSEurofirst Index Series
  4. US - S&P500, Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), NASDAQ-100 
According to SGX doc, FTSE/ASEAN 40 Index consists of the largest 40 companies by full market value from the eligible markets that qualify as eligible for inclusion in the FTSE/ASEAN Index.

Securities that are members of the FTSE All-World Index for Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand are potentially eligible for the Index. If, at the time of the Index review, a review of the FTSE All-World Index has been carried out but not implemented, the new FTSE All-World Index constituent list will be used.

Securities are subject to a liquidity screen. Each security must turn over at least 20% of its shares in issue, after adjusting for free float, in the twelve months prior to the review.

Leon Fuat IPO - Oversubscription rate of 23.32 times









Leon Fuat Berhad (shortcode: LEONFB) Public Issue Shares has been oversubscribed by Malaysian public and balloting of successful applications was conducted this afternoon, according to Bursa Malaysia.

Below are the details of the shares allotment:

Total Public Issue Shares: 377,034,500

Total Public Subscription Shares: 15,500,000

Total applications: 14,132 (oversubscribed 23.32 times)

Leon Fuat IPO


According to the company's website, Leon Huat Berhad is primarily in the business of trading and processing of steel products, specialising in rolled long and flat products.

Initial public offering in conjunction with the listing on the main market of bursa malaysia securities berhad comprising:

(i) Public issue of 59,310,000 new ordinary shares (approximately 19.13% of enlarged issued and paid-up share capital) of RM0.50 each (“shares”) in the following manner:
• 15,500,000 new shares available for application by the public;
• 10,000,000 new shares available for application by our eligible directors, employees and persons who have contributed to the success of our group;
• 33,810,000 new shares by way of placement to selected investors;
and

(ii) Offer for sale of up to 31,000,000 existing shares (~10%) by way of placement to bumiputera investors approved by the ministry of international trade and industry, at an issue/offer price of RM0.60 per share, payable in full upon application.
